T J O K E E F E is an American furniture and object design company established in 2010. With an emphasis on integrity and efficiency of both design and manufacturing, we strive to create powerful objects through compelling minimalism. Driven by philosophies in architecture, industrial design, and graphic design, our office applies the merit and parameters of all three to every object we produce. We aim to achieve the greatest effect by the simplest means.

Guided by compelling form, our office opens a feedback loop between material and geometry, letting the true nature of each be optimized. We strive for a purity of form and material, executing designs in the most logical way––both formally and conceptually.

Designer's statement:

Above all, I try to innovate with everything I make. Although conceptual, the most important thing about my work is the effect. I am far less interested in theory and philosophy; I am interested in the real. I aim to design objects free of connotation, that allow the viewer a moment of reprieve or meditation. I believe the simplest things have the potential to be the most powerful, and––following nature––logic begets beauty. Nothing can compare to the beauty and wonder of nature, but I am trying to make the next best things.
